MEET “HANDSOME” NOELLIE – A PLAYFUL PEKINGESE WHO LOVES ALL THE ATTENTION ❤️
LOCATION: CENTURION, GAUTENG
Meet Noellie, a gorgeous 6-year-old male Pekingese affectionately known as “Handsome” by his mom.
And Handsome certainly has a personality to match his nickname!
Noellie is friendly, playful, affectionate and loves being around people. He brings his toys when he wants to play, enjoys being petted and absolutely loves being carried around like a baby.
His owners are retired and will be travelling extensively during the year, so they have made the difficult decision to find Noellie a loving new home.
Noellie is not dependent on his sister Scarlett and can be adopted separately.

❤️ AFFECTIONATE, PLAYFUL & A LITTLE JEALOUS!
Noellie loves attention.
If you’re sitting in the lounge, don’t expect Handsome to quietly watch from across the room. He wants to be involved!
He loves people, enjoys being fussed over and will happily bring you a toy when he decides it’s time to play.
He is also rather fond of being carried around like a baby.
And if his sister Scarlett is getting attention?
Well… Handsome has been known to become a little jealous and make sure Mom remembers that there is another Pekingese waiting for some love!

☀️ HANDSOME LOVES TO DISTURB THE QUEEN
Noellie currently lives with his younger sister Scarlett, whom their mom affectionately calls “Queen.”
Scarlett enjoys sitting peacefully in the sunshine looking very regal.
Noellie?
He apparently sees this as the perfect opportunity to go and disturb his sister!
The two also love playing their own version of hide-and-seek, with Scarlett running and hiding and Noellie chasing after her.
They have grown up together, but they are not dependent on each other and may be adopted separately.

🏡 NOELLIE’S IDEAL HOME
Noellie would love a home where he can receive plenty of human companionship, attention and affection.
He is reported to be wonderful with people and children.
However, Noellie is not friendly with other dogs, so this is important for potential adopters to consider.
A home where Noellie can be the only dog and enjoy being the centre of attention may be the best match for Handsome.
He has not lived with cats, so his compatibility with cats is unknown.
❤️ WHY DOES NOELLIE NEED A NEW HOME?
Noellie joined his family during lockdown in 2020 when he was still a tiny puppy.
He became their very first dog and has been a much-loved member of the family ever since.
His owners are now retired and expect to travel extensively throughout the year. They have therefore made the difficult decision to find him a suitable new home.
Noellie is not being rehomed because he is unwanted.
His family wants to find the right person who will love their Handsome boy as much as they do.

ABOUT PEKINGESE
Pekingese are companion dogs known for their distinctive personalities and close relationships with their humans.
They can be affectionate, confident and wonderfully entertaining little companions.
Noellie’s outgoing personality, love of human attention and determination to be included in family life certainly give this little “Handsome” boy plenty of character.
As with every rescue dog, potential adopters should consider the individual dog’s temperament and needs rather than relying on breed characteristics alone.
