Meet Rat! Don’t let the name fool you—this gorgeous 6-year-old Miniature Doberman Pinscher is a total Casanova. His absolute favorite thing in the world is being near his people, giving endless cuddles, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He is incredibly sweet, social, and lovable.
Rat is currently in Fourways, Johannesburg, and needs a new home urgently as his family is immigrating to the UK.
Personality & Ideal Home
Rat is a deeply sensitive and emotional boy who wears his heart on his sleeve. He has so much love to give and is looking for a family that will shower him with the same affection in return.
- Children: Excellent! He is fantastic with kids.
- Other Dogs: Good if dogs are mean he will hide
- Cats: slow introduction
- Pool Safety: He is used to a home with a pool.
- Home Security: Rat is a bit of an escape artist and a typical alert Min Pin who enjoys barking to let you know what’s happening. A home with secure, escape-proof fencing is a must!
- House-training: Rat will need a patient owner willing to help him with his house-training routine in his new environment.

Rat has epilepsy, which is a manageable condition, but his new family will need to ensure he receives the consistent care and routine he needs to stay happy and healthy. Please note that his original vet card is unavailable, but he is ready to transition to a family dedicated to his well-being.
