Adopt Miniature Dachshund, Jackson
Adopt Miniature Dachshund, Jackson. He is lovable 2 ½ year old male Miniature Dachshund, that is a little shy, but quickly warms up to you once your nice to him. This small long body, “screams adorable” and when he likes you – he loves you!
Jackson is energetic Worsie and loves to play games. He gets on well with older children, however, he is nervous of small toddlers and might nip their ankles.
As far as dogs are concerned, he is fine with older chilled out dogs. When going for walks on his extendable leash on the beach, he gets very excited to see other dogs, but has no manners, as he has not yet been well socialized with other canines. He has not been exposed to cats.
He is a typical Sausage Dog, that is vocal when the delivery guys pass by, or the rubbish trucks make their rounds. He does not like Hadidas, and will let you know they are encroaching on his space. He can be home alone for short periods of time, and will bark when you leave, from sadness that he could not enjoy the ride with you. He does however, quickly quieten down.
Jackson loves to cuddle in his fleece blankets indoors.
He is housetrained, but as he is afraid of thunderstorms or fireworks, he might lift his leg due to being anxious of all the noise. (He uses the wee pads in the kitchen)
