Urgent Placement Needed: Gabby’s family is immigrating on Monday, and her previous adoption fell through at the last minute.
Gabby combines the best of both worlds: the playful energy and watchful spirit of a Jack Russell, paired with the affectionate, cozy companion nature of a Pekingese. She is in great health, full of life, and ready to bring so much joy to the right family!

- Spirited & Playful: True to her Jack Russell roots, Gabby loves to run around, explore, and let out a happy bark to keep watch.
- Affectionate & Sweet: She is a genuine sweetheart who loves being close to her humans and soaking up love.
- Her Favorite Cozy Spot: She has a hilarious and endearing quirk—ever since she was a puppy, she chose her absolute favorite sleeping spot in the bathroom!
What Gabby Needs in Her New Home
To ensure Gabby settles in happily and safely, her ideal home environment should meet the following:
- Family Environment: Excellent with older/familiar kids in her own household (prefers a calm environment without unfamiliar visiting children – will need slow introduction)
- Pet Setup: Best suited as an only pet or with a calm, compatible dog after a proper introduction (she did wonderfully with her family’s Yorkie, but is selective with unfamiliar dogs and not suited for cats).
- Living Space: A secure yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy her daily runs
- Please note that Gabby is not yet spayed/sterilized and is not up to date on her vaccinations. We are urgently looking for a hero to step forward, cover her needed medical care, and give this sweet girl the fresh start she deserves before her family leaves.
