The Three Musketeers: Charlie, Tango & Rocky Seek a Peaceful Forever
It is with a heavy heart that these three precious boys are looking for a new start. They are currently based in Pretoria, Gauteng, and are looking for a very specific type of home where they can be the center of attention.
While we would love for them to stay together, Rocky can be rehomed independently. However, Charlie and Tango are an inseparable pair.
The Heart of the Matter: Why a Specific Home?
Tango, our sweet Yorkie-Poodle cross, carries a bit of a “brave heart” story. Due to a traumatic attack by a much larger dog in his past, he developed a seizure disorder (similar to epilepsy). Because of this, Tango is fearful of large dogs. To ensure he remains healthy and seizure-free, we are looking for a home where they will be the only dogs, or at the very least, a home with no large breeds.
Meet the Boys
1. Charlie (8 Years Old) – The Gentle Soul
- Breed: Yorkie Cross
- Personality: Charlie is the ultimate “chill” companion. He is patient, calm, and loves nothing more than curling up for a long nap. He is the stabilizing force of the group.
- Note: Charlie thrives on human company and is a master of the “couch cuddle.”
2. Tango (8 Years Old) – The Dancing Sweetheart
- Breed: Yorkie-Poodle Cross
- Personality: Tango will “dance” for his morning treats! He is affectionate and loves belly rubs.
- Health: His mild seizures are managed by keeping his environment calm. A home without the stress of large dogs is essential for his well-being.
3. Rocky (3 Years Old) – The Energetic Adventurer
- Breed: Yorkie-Jack Russell Cross
- Personality: The “baby” of the family! Rocky is full of life, loves water, and is obsessed with his soft toys.
- Behavior: He is a loyal protector but can be wary of strangers (like garden services). He needs a family that understands the Jack Russell spark and can provide a secure environment.

- Compatibility: They haven’t spent much time around children. They are best suited to a quiet, predictable home where they are treated as part of the family.
Adoption Process
This is a “Home-to-Home” adoption. The boys will remain in their current loving home in Pretoria until the perfect match is found. This ensures a stress-free transition for the dogs and allows the new owners to chat directly with their current mom.
