Dash is a high-energy socialite who thrives on human attention. While he doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety, he might give a soft, quiet whine for a few minutes when you leave, just to let you know he’ll miss you.
- The Quiet Daxie: Unlike many of his peers, Dash is remarkably quiet. He didn’t bark for his first 8 months and remains very selective and calm.
- Water Baby: While he doesn’t have a pool at home, he enjoys swimming whenever owner visits his friends on the farm!
- Leash Manners: He enjoys a large garden but handles a leash well after a few minutes of settling in.
Training & Social Skills
- Commands: Dash is a star pupil! He knows: Sit, Stay, On your bed, Come, Go and Play, No, Down.
- House Trained: Fully trained for “wees and poos.”
- Compatibility: Excellent with people and other dogs. He hasn’t met cats yet, so a slow introduction would be best.
