Personality and Traits

  • Very affectionate and people-oriented
  • Highly energetic – runs, jumps, and plays constantly
  • Loves toys: balls, teddies, chew toys, and his igloo
  • Friendly and social, enjoys interaction throughout the day
  • Confident and playful, but can get boisterous when excited
  • Sleeps on the bed or in his own bed and happily uses his igloo
  • Sleeps during thunderstorms
  • Barks when excited or if he hears something at night (not excessive)

Beaufort is physically strong and can get wild if overstimulated, so he needs structured activity and a home that can manage his enthusiasm. Preferably no elderly family members or small toddlers, as he might accidently bump them over.
