Snoopy is a 5-year-old male Dachshund for adoption in White River, Mpumalanga. This affectionate black-and-tan dog enjoys attention and outdoor play but needs patient support with indoor urination.

This affectionate little fellow has a playful personality and enjoys spending time with people. He can be a little shy initially, but once he feels comfortable, his loving nature begins to shine through.

Snoopy is a little dog with plenty of personality!

He loves receiving attention and being close to his favourite people. His owner describes him as lovable, although he can sometimes be a little needy when it comes to companionship.

He enjoys playing outdoors and is happy to interact with other dogs once he has had time to get to know them.

Snoopy also enjoys swimming, which adds another fun little detail to his personality!

Like many alert little dogs, Snoopy notices what is happening around him and will bark at other animals outside the fence.

He may take a little time to warm up to unfamiliar people, so a gentle approach and allowing him to settle at his own pace will be important.

Although Snoopy enjoys interacting with other dogs once familiar with them, he has experienced difficulties in his current multi-dog household. A home where he receives plenty of individual attention may be a good match.

A home with another suitable dog could potentially be considered, provided introductions are carefully managed and compatibility is assessed.

His suitability for living with cats has not been established.

❤️ WHY DOES SNOOPY NEED A NEW HOME?

Snoopy currently shares his home with two other male dogs, a West Highland White Terrier and a Miniature Schnauzer.

Unfortunately, the combination has become challenging. His owner has also been struggling with Snoopy urinating indoors and difficulties in his interactions with household staff.

Despite seeking assistance, these challenges have continued.

His owner wants Snoopy to have the opportunity to settle into a home that is better suited to his individual needs, where he can receive the attention, patience and guidance he deserves.

Snoopy is currently still with his owner while Little Doggy Rescue helps find him a suitable new family.
