Dobby’s family is relocating to the U.S, despite trying everything, they cannot afford the massive cost of his relocation. They saved Dobby and his late sister from a tiny pet shop cage 12 years ago when they were just tiny puppies sold for R50. Now, they want to ensure his final years are filled with the same absolute devotion he has given them.

- The Blanket Burrower: Dobby loves to tuck himself completely under his blanket to sleep. He also sucks on his blanket as a soothing mechanism when he feels anxious.

Health, Mobility, and Special Needs
Despite being a senior and a tripod dog (three-legged dog), Dobby is incredibly healthy and full of life!

- A Fear of the Dark: Dobby is afraid of the dark. At night, if he needs to go outside, he will wake you up and stare at you until you walk out and stand with him.
- The Ultimate Shadow: He has mild separation anxiety and hates being alone. He will follow you from room to room and wait outside the shower for you.
Ideal Home Requirements
Dobby gets along with other dogs as long as they don’t threaten him or take away his attention, but he is protective of his food around other animals. Because he recently lost his sister, Lulu, to cancer, he is craving extra love.
- Children: Wonderful with kids (raised with a 12 and 16-year-old).
- Cats: Unknown.
- Swimming Pools: Safety warning: Dobby cannot swim and dislikes the water, so a home with an unprotected pool is not suitable.
- Ideal Owner: Someone retired, working from home, or a family that is home most of the time to give him the attention he deserves. He will come with his favorite teddy, his blanket, his bed, and his bowls.
