Not every dog is destined for a bustling pack. Some, like the wonderfully precious “Daug” Luna, are destined to be the one-and-only star of the show. When her new mom came along, we knew it was the perfect match—a home where she could be showered with undivided love and attention. Renamed Lexy, this sweet girl traveled to her new home, and from the moment she arrived, it was clear she had found her paradise.

A successful Daug adoption, like any rehoming, is all about matching the dog’s personality to the home’s environment. Some dogs thrive with other canine friends, while others, like Lexy, blossom when they are the sole focus of their family’s affection. Recognizing and honoring this need is the key to creating a truly happy forever home.

A Note from the New Family

“Lexy is settling in so nicely! She’s very precious and has already been in my bed with her new bunny. She definitely needs to be an ‘only child,’ and we are so happy to give her that. She already knows which buttons to push! Thank you again for making this union possible.”

“Thank you so, so much for all your help finding her an amazing new home. We are so grateful for you making this whole emotional process so much easier.”
