Sometimes, the perfect family is waiting, even if they are provinces away. When Esté decided to adopt, she knew she wanted to give a second chance to a dog who truly needed it. That’s when she met Rosie, a senior beagle who needed a little extra TLC. What followed was a long-distance adoption journey that proved that with a little patience and a lot of love, two new friends (one human, one canine!) can become a beautiful, happy family.
“Choosing a senior dog adoption is one of the most rewarding experiences a person can have. Older dogs are often already house-trained, have a calmer demeanor, and are filled with so much love to give. They don’t ask for much—just a soft bed and a loving hand—and in return, they enrich our lives in countless ways, as Rosie’s story beautifully shows.”

A Note from the New Family
“The initial meeting with our other dog went well, and today they’re getting used to each other. I’m sure they’ll be friends in no time! Rosie definitely needs some TLC, but we’re more than happy to give her that and make her golden years the best ever. Thank you so much for facilitating the adoption!”

A Message from The Previous Owner
“This is so amazing to hear! We are so happy Rosie is settling in well and has found such a wonderful home. We even saw that her new brother, Doug, sits in exactly the same way Rosie does! Thank you for making this process so amazing and comfortable for us..“
