Zoey is a 5 year old female Africanus. This playful, loving girl is searching for a new family to call her own. She is very loving towards her humans, and gets along well with older children, not toddlers.
Zoey does quickly get stressed and anxious in new surroundings. She enjoys going for walks on leash, however, does get anxious with other dogs around. She did get along fine with an older canine friend who crossed the rainbow bridge.
Zoey is content with being home alone during the days and enjoys playing with a variety of stimulation toys. She gets very excited and jumps around when she has an opportunity to go for a car ride.
Zoey is fully housetrained, and lives indoors on the bed or couch. She does like to talk doggy language, and will bark if not taken out for her daily walks and exercise.
Please note that Zoey does get tempted to jump up, to grab something special to eat from the counter top. If an opportunity avails itself, she will take advantage of an open gate, and go walk about.
